REGISTRATION INFORMATION

 

Please pay attention to the following information.

It is only possible to sign up via the form, which will lead you to the link in the course description - other ways of signing up will not be taken into account. In the registration form, it is necessary to fill in the following items: name, surname, date of birth, permanent residence, telephone and email. We need this information for the registration of those staying in the city of Kolín. Next, you indicate the type of room in which you want to be accommodated. There are five places in a single room, ten places in a double room and fifteen places in a triple room. Also let us know if you are coming by car, parking is possible at the monastery for a limited number of participants. In the notes, you can include a request for a discount for people with low income, students, pensioners. We usually send a response to the application within 5 working days, and you will receive an invoice with a request for payment one to two weeks before the start of the course. Please keep in mind that the application is binding and in case of cancellation of your participation, you may be subject to cancellation fees according to the General Terms and Conditions.

 

The courses organized by the Kolin monastery have different focus, level of difficulty and follow-up on previous participation in the courses.

 

A level courses
 

Basic level of difficulty suitable for introduction to individual methods of self-experience, prayer, contemplation, vigilance or meditation.

 

Level B courses
 

For these courses, experience with previous courses or one's own meditative or contemplative practice gained through participation in other spiritual exercises, retreats or retreats is appropriate, but not necessary. Courses can be longer, more difficult both physically and mentally.

 

C Level Courses
 

These courses build on previous participation in other B-level courses and completion is assumed.

 

In terms of method, the courses are mainly divided into:

 

Contemplative - their essence is contemplative prayer or meditation;

Ignatian - their goal is the Ignatian spiritual exercises of St. Ignatius of Loyola;

Special - courses using film, books, music or psychological means for self-discovery.
